The BMW M4 CS (G82, 2025) is a limited-production, track-focused variant of the M4 Coupe generation that has been on sale since 2021. It uses the same 2993cc twin-turbocharged inline-6 as the M4 Competition, but tuned to 550 PS and 650 Nm, paired with an 8-speed M Steptronic Sport automatic and rear-wheel drive. Extensive use of carbon fibre for the bonnet, roof, and interior trim reduces weight versus the standard M4, while the M Drive Professional package adds a drift analyzer and laptimer as standard. Inside, the M4 CS gets carbon-shell bucket seats, Alcantara trim, and BMW’s Curved Display infotainment system. It is not officially sold new in Bangladesh and is available only in extremely limited numbers through specialist reconditioned importers.

BMW M4 CS Overview

The BMW M4 CS is built for enthusiasts and collectors rather than everyday commuters, targeting Bangladeshi buyers who already own a performance car and want the most track-capable, exclusive version of the current M4. Its limited production run and carbon-fibre construction make it as much a collector’s item as a driver’s car. It is not intended as a daily family vehicle; in the Bangladesh context it typically appeals to enthusiast collectors and weekend track-day drivers who value exclusivity and outright performance over comfort or practicality.

BMW M4 CS Features

Standard equipment includes M Drive Professional with an integrated laptimer and drift analyzer, carbon-shell bucket seats trimmed in Alcantara and leather, a 14.9-inch BMW Curved Display, and the M Sport exhaust with selectable sound modes. Carbon fibre is used extensively for the bonnet, roof, and front splitter to reduce weight, and lightweight forged wheels are fitted as standard; a laser light headlamp upgrade and M Carbon-ceramic brakes are offered as options.

BMW M4 CS Engine

The S58 inline-six in CS tune is one of the most aggressive engines BMW currently builds, delivering an explosive top-end rush alongside strong mid-range torque, with a raspy, mechanical exhaust note distinct from the standard M4. Throttle response is sharper than the Competition model thanks to reduced weight and a recalibrated engine map. Compared to rivals like the Mercedes-AMG C63 or Porsche 911 Carrera, the M4 CS feels more focused and race-bred, trading some everyday comfort for a noticeably more immediate and communicative driving experience.

BMW M4 CS Variants

The G82 M4 range spans the standard M4, M4 Competition, M4 Competition xDrive, M4 CSL (an earlier limited run), and the M4 CS as the current top-tier trim. The CS sits above the Competition, adding extensive carbon-fibre body panels, a power bump, and track-oriented suspension tuning. Globally, the M4 CS is offered only in rear-wheel-drive form to keep weight down, unlike the Competition which is available with optional xDrive all-wheel drive; in Bangladesh, only a handful of CS units have entered the market via specialist importers.
