The BMW X2 (U10) is the second generation of BMW’s sporty compact crossover, launched in 2024 as a larger and more upmarket successor to the original F39-based X2, now built on the UKL2 platform shared with the X1. The sDrive20i variant uses a 1499cc turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine with 48V mild-hybrid assistance, producing 170 PS and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission driving the front wheels. The U10 X2 adopts a dramatically restyled exterior with a longer, more pronounced coupe roofline, wider body, and a thoroughly modern interior featuring BMW’s curved display with iDrive 9 technology. It measures 4,554 mm in length — 180 mm longer than the F39 X2 — offering improved boot space of up to 515 litres and more legroom for rear passengers. In Bangladesh, the BMW X2 is available primarily as a brand-new import through authorised and parallel channels.
